Our customers are my first priority. I build a relationship with each customer and have made life long friends through the business. Getting to know our customers and taking care of their needs is the most rewarding part of my job.
Outside of work, I enjoy shooting USPSA pistols and carbines. I travel to different matches around the area. I am a member of our church and love spending time with my family.
Tawndra Ferguson

I get to interact with people everyday one on one, helping them all in different ways. There is such a wide variety of things that we do making the days very interesting. Termites are probably my favorite insect to watch and observe. At the end of the day I know that I have made someone’s life better and that is what is so rewarding about what I do.
In my downtime I love to cook, spend time with my family, and am very active in our church.
Devin Hughes

Devin was born and raised here in Lubbock. He enjoys working for Rusty’s Bug Stop because he gets to meet new people and build relationships with them. He also likes that everyday on the job is different. In Devin’s free time he enjoys spending time with his son and family, shaping and creasing cowboy hats, staying up to date with the western industry, and fishing.
Roman Lopez

Technician
Roman moved to Lubbock from Artesia, NM ten years ago to attend school. In his free time he enjoys playing board games with his wife, hunting, fishing, and any sport that is played with a racquet or paddle. He also loves getting to meet and become friends with new people. He is happy to be part of the team and looks forward to working hard and building lasting relationships with the people he meets.
Corey Stanberry

Corey grew up in Clovis, NM and is the third oldest of 6 siblings. He is a father of 5 children. He is a man of God who enjoys sports, spending time with his family, cooking, and learning new things. Corey enjoys pest control because he is able to meet new people and help them fix their pest problems.
Logan Fleming

Technician
Logan was born and raised in Lubbock. He has worked in the pest industry for the last 3 years and in 3 different states. In Logan’s free time, he enjoys going to the gym, hanging out with family any chance he gets, and playing sports when he can. Logan’s favorite part of the job is making sure all of his customers are overly satisfied with his services.
Les Lewis

Les has lived in Lubbock all of his life. Outside of work Les enjoys cooking for his family and friends, traveling with his wife, playing games with friends, and hunting. He enjoys working with Rusty’s Bug Stop for the company’s family-oriented values and because he gets to meet new people and provide peace of mind to those he serves.
Rodney Harper

Apprentice
Rodney was born and raised here in Lubbock and has been in the pest industry for several years. He enjoys the industry because of the variety of issues he deals with every day. There are never 2 days that are the same. He loves solving those issues for his customers to make them feel comfortable in their home knowing that they have their pest issues under control. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing video games, golfing, and going to the range. He also enjoys anything involving technology, especially computers.

Reid was born and raised in Levelland, TX. He enjoys the pest industry because he gets to meet new people everyday and gets to help them out as well. In Reids free time you can find him watching sports, hanging out with his friends, and golfing.
Melanie Lee

Melanie was born and raised in New Mexico and works remotely from her home in Ruidoso. Her and her husband Jason have two grown children and one grandson. In Melanie’s free time you can find her reading a good book, relaxing on her porch, and spending time with her family.

Though I have only been officially employed with Rusty’s Bug Stop for a short time, the company means everything to me. Watching my parents start the business from the ground up while I was still very young and seeing it grow into the company it is today makes me extremely proud to be a part of the team. I love getting to know our customers and building relationships with each of them. The job duties change from day to day and I enjoy the new challenges each day presents. Outside of work I am typically on an adventure with my 5 year old son or spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling.

For over 15 years Rusty and Tawndra Ferguson have been serving the Lubbock area with quality pest control services. We kill bugs, but to us it is so much more than that.
Our mission is to bring excellent customer service and satisfaction to every customer. We service residential and commercial properties protecting them from unwanted pests including roaches, bees, termites, spiders, mice, and more.
